Goal: To change the size and shape of the nose (hump, long and wide nose, broad and asymmetrical tip of the nose, saddle deformity) and correction of the breathing disorders caused by the septal deviation.
Surgical technique: Correction is performed through intranasal incisions, so the scar remains invisible. The aim of the procedure is to change the shape and position of the nasal cartilages and bones, so that the whole nasal appearance becomes more appealing. Nasal pack for 2 days and external splint are kept for 2 weeks.
Duration and anesthesia: Usually 45 minutes to 2 hours, under local or general anesthesia, depending on the type of the operation.
Recovery: Until the removal of the nasal packs and the splint after 2 weeks, the patient is forced to breathe through the mouth. Most of the edema and ecchymosis usually disappear within this period.
Rare complications: Swollen eyelids and surrounding tissues, mild postop bleeding.

Goal: To correct the aging deformity of the face and neck. This is achieved by pulling up the fallen and loose tissues and adding the volume to rejuvenate the face. Facelift can be and should be often combined with eyelid surgery, facial liposculpture and resurfacing (light dermabrasion, superficial laser, light peel).
Surgical technique: The initial incision is made in the temporal hairline and continued down in front of, around and posterior to the ear. The skin is undermined, excess removed and the underlying tissues lifted up to ensure long-lasting result. Liposuction of the jaw and sub mental area (fatty neck) is often performed to achieve smooth and better contour.
Duration and anesthesia: 2 - 3 hours under general anesthesia. Duration depends on the type of procedure, because today exist various mini facelifts like S - lift, temporal lift, neck lift etc.
Recovery: Bandage and drains are removed in 1 - 2 days. Stitches are removed in 2 weeks. Compresses are recommended for 1 month.
Rare complications: Swelling due to hematomas, loss of skin sensation for several months, rare skin necrosis (especially behind the ears in heavy smokers), hypertrophy of the scars

Goal: Removal of the excess eyelid skin and prominent per orbital fat pads of the upper and lower eyelids. Both upper and lower eyelids can be treated together or separately.
Surgical technique: After precise preoperative markings, elliptical excision of the excess skin of the upper lid is performed, together with the muscle strip excision and removal of the fat pad if necessary. Subciliary incision of the lower lid is placed without cutting lashes and in case there is no skin excess.
Duration and anesthesia: This procedure is performed under local anesthesia, with or without sedation, upper eyelids in 30 and lower within 45 minutes.
Recovery: Ice bags are applied few hours after the operation and cold gauzes next few days to reduce swelling. Stitches are removed in 5-7 days.
Rare complications: Eyelid swelling and bruises which could last 5-7 days. Inability to close eye fully or epiphora are temporary disorders.
Goal: To correct the shape and reduce the angle between the auricle and the head.
Surgical technique: Excision of the excessive retro auricular skin and remodeling of the auricular cartilage until normal contour and angle are achieved.
Duration and anesthesia: The procedure is performed under the local anesthesia and lasts about one hour for both sides.
Recovery: Bandage around the head is removed after 2 week, stitches after two weeks.
Rare complications: Transitory swelling of the auricle due to hematoma.
Goal: To reshape the facial contour and correct asymmetries, irregularities of the face, depressed perioral region and thin lips with autologous fat grafts.
Surgical technique: With fine gauge cannulas (2-3 mm) through small stab incisions the necessary amount of fat is aspirated usually from the abdominal wall, gluteal or sub mental region. After preparation fat is injected in several subcutaneous and intramuscular layers.
Duration and anesthesia: Usually 30 - 45 minutes under local anesthesia.
Recovery: One day after the procedure a patient should refrain from intensive facial movements, i.e. laughing or talking too much. Since the degree of fat resorption is unpredictable, the procedure is likely to be repeated after some time to obtain better and long-lasting result.
Rare complications: Mild edema and haematomas.
Goal: Contour refinement and enchancement of the lower and/or upper lids by injecting various injectable fillers into the lips.
Duration and anaesthesia: Procedure is performed under local anaesthesia and lasts about 20 minutes
Recovery: Patients are able to do their normal daily routine 2 hours after the treatment. Exsessive heat eg sauna, solarium is not recomendend for 1 week.
Rare complications: Transitory bruises and mild edema
Goal: Contour refinement of the lower third of the face and neck by removal of the jaw line and submental fat deposits.
Operative technique: Through small stub incisions on the skin below the chin, a saline solution with anesthetic and adrenalin is infiltrated. With special small diameter cannulas fat is aspirated and thus removed.
Duration and anesthesia: Procedure is performed under local anesthesia and lasts usually 30-60 min.
Recovery: After 1-2 weeks elastic compressive bandages are removed, and patient returns to usual activities. Early postoperative massage is recommended.
Rare complications: Transitory bruises and mild edema.
Goal: To lift up and remove the excess forehead skin and correct horizontal and vertical wrinkles on the forehead and between eyebrows, as well as to perform brow lift.
Surgical technique: Bicoronal scalp incision or endoscoping mini lifting, skin is released till orbital rim and excessive skin removed along with the resection of the corrugators and procerus muscles that cause vertical wrinkles and the strip excisions of the frontal muscle to weaken its function and thus neutralize horizontal wrinkling. One can perform forehead lift alone but more often with the face lift.
Duration and anesthesia: Approximately 2 hours under general anesthesia.
Recovery: Usual activities and hair wash after 1 week. Stitches are removed after 2 weeks.
Rare complications: Mild edema and hematoma on the forehead.
Goal: To lift up the brow along the entire length or just its lateral part.
Surgical technique: In case of lifting the brow along the entire length, three small incisions are made along the upper edge of each brow. Thin threads are tunneled under the forehead skin to the scalp behind the hairline where sutures are fixed. In case of lateral brow lift only one incision is made. This procedure can be performed alone or in conjunction with facelift and/or eyelid surgery.
Duration and anesthesia: Approximately 30 minutes under local anesthesia.
Recovery: Usual activities next day. Avoid forehead mimic for a few days.
Rare complications: Mild brow asymmetry.
Botox? and Dysport? are brand names for the purified form of botulinum toxin Type A, which is produced by the bacteria Clostridium botulinum. When injected into some facial muscles of extremely small doses, it blocks impulses from the nerve to the tiny facial muscles which are related to expression lines.
Goal: Correction of already existing wrinkles and prevention of new ones around the eyes, on the forehead and between the eyebrows. This relaxes the muscles to stop them contracting, leaving the overlying skin smooth and unwrinkled. It can not ?freeze? your facial expression because it works only on the specific muscles, leaving surrounding muscles to function normally.
Injection technique: After dilution and marking precisely several locations on the face, it is injected using a disposable syringe with a very fine (insulin) needle. The pain associated with injections is minimal and can be prevented by previous cooling of the skin. No local anesthetic is required and one can return to normal activities immediately. Treatment takes around 15 minutes, it takes 3-4 days to begin taking effect and up to 10 days to see the full effect.
Temporary Side Effects: Tenderness or bruising at the site of injection and in some cases temporary weakness in nearby muscles. In rare cases, there can be slight and temporary drooping of an eyelid or eyebrow lasting 1-2 weeks.
It is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, during therapy with Aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) or in some neuromuscular disorders.
The effect lasts 3-5 months or longer and one can repeat the treatment regularly. Clinical studies indicate that the duration of effect increases over time, so you may need less frequent injections in the future to maintain the result.
Goal: Operative treatment of the male and female boldness and alopecia-pathological hair loss due to trauma, some chemical agents or hair loss on the scar tissue.
Operative technique: Using special blades the hair transplants with follicles are taken from the occipital area, and then inserted into the places where the hair is missing.
Duration and anesthesia: It depends on the extensiveness of the region to be treated (1-3 hours). The procedure should be repeated after 2-3 months to achieve hair density, and in the last phase, using special technique of micro transplantation.
Recovery: The treatment is performed under local anesthesia and the patient can leave the facility next day.
Rare complications: Rejection of some grafts.
